Bet on MLB Baseball with Free Picks: Toronto Blue Jays VS Chicago White Sox

Colby Rasmus’ night was not able to start so good, but he definitely came through with a career performance. Rasmus would love a repeat of his series-opening night on Wednesday when the visiting Toronto Blue Jays face the Chicago White Sox in the second of a three-game set. This game made a lot of people want to bet on MLB baseball and so should you.
After dropping a routine fly ball, Rasmus redeemed himself by collecting a career-high five hits – that includes a two-run homer in the fifth inning – as Toronto handed Chicago just its second loss in 12 games.

Rasmus added an RBI double in the eighth inning for the Blue Jays, who were able to win five of their last seven overall. Toronto has also enjoyed considerable success versus Chicago, winning 27 of 38 meetings over the past six seasons. The Blue Jays sit two games out of first place in the American League East, while the White Sox saw their lead in the AL Central trimmed to just 1 ½ games over Cleveland.

Pitching Match Up: Brandon Morrow (Blue Jays RH 6-3, 3.28 ERA) VS Jose Quintana (White Sox LH, 1-0, 1.69 ERA)
Morrow managed to alternate fantastic starts with brutal ones over the past month. The 27-year-old followed a six-run effort in two-thirds of an inning with a sizzling eight-strikeout performance over six frames in a 4-1 win over Baltimore last Wednesday. Morrow dropped his lone career decision to Chicago.

After working his last two outings out of the bullpen, Quintana will make his third start of the season on Wednesday. The 23-year-old retired both batters he faced in a 10-8 loss to Seattle on Saturday. Quintana has only permitted six runs and issued five walks in 16 innings this season.

Take note of these:
• Brett Lawrie had three hits while batting leadoff to provide quite the 1-2 punch with Rasmus. Combined, the duo recorded eight hits - including three for extra bases - seven runs with three RBIs.
• Chicago left-hander John Danks is expected to throw a side session on Wednesday and will make a rehab start prior to being activated from the disabled list. Danks has been sidelined with a left shoulder strain.
